1. Scope of Services

  • EJ Express Logistics provides freight transportation, logistics coordination, delivery, and related services

  • Services are defined in individual contracts, rate confirmations, proposals, or service agreements

  • All services are performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws

2. Estimates & Proposals

  • Rates and estimates are based on information available at the time of request

  • Pricing is subject to change due to fuel costs, accessorial charges, delays, or scope changes

  • Final pricing is governed by written agreements, rate confirmations, or invoices

  • Acceptance of services constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms and schedules are outlined in invoices or service agreements

  • Late payments may result in:

  • Interest charges

  • Administrative fees

  • Suspension of current or future services

  • Deposits or prepayment may be required for certain shipments

  • Payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in writing

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate shipment details, dimensions, weights, and delivery requirements

  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with shipping regulations

  • Secure necessary permits, documentation, or approvals

  • Ensure pickup and delivery locations are accessible and safe

  • Respond promptly to communications that may impact service timelines

5. Website Use of Information

  • EJ Express Logistics may utilize third-party carriers, drivers, brokers, or vendors

  • We are not responsible for delays, damages, or failures caused by third parties outside our reasonable control

  • Liability is limited as outlined in Section 8

6. Changes & Modifications

  • Any changes to shipment details or service scope must be approved in writing

  • Changes may result in revised pricing or delivery timelines

  • Verbal changes are not binding unless confirmed in writing

7. Warranties & Disclaimers

  • No guarantees are made regarding transit times unless expressly stated in writing

  • We do not guarantee performance of third-party carriers or equipment

  • Services are provided “as is” with no implied warranties unless explicitly stated

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • EJ Express Logistics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific shipment or service giving rise to the claim

  • Claims must be submitted in writing within the timeframe specified in the service agreement

9. Delays & Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Weather conditions

  • Accidents

  • Labor disputes

  • Equipment failures

  • Government actions

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Acts of God

10. Termination

  • Either party may terminate services with written notice if the other materially breaches the agreement

  • Upon termination, the Client remains responsible for all charges incurred up to the termination date

11. Intellectual Property

All documentation, rate sheets, proposals, and operational materials remain the property of EJ Express Logistics unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Texas

13. Amendments

  • EJ Express Logistics reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time

  • Updates will be effective upon posting with a revised date
